Ferry in New Zealand

Two kinds of The Interisland Line survices between Wellington, northern island, and Picton, southern island,. The Interislander,large ship, takes three hours. The lynx, first ship, takes two hours. We can book at tourist office or travel agency. Each ferry can go into by car. In case of that you should check in before an hour of arriving ship. Another check in is before 30 minites. Fare of the Interislander is 52 dollars and the lynx is 68 dollars. We can enjoy long trip on ship. There is much equipment to enjoy in ship. You should check schedule of ship before sailing because schedule is changeable for weather.

New Zealand Transportation

New Zealanders enjoy extensive suburban bus network as economical way to travel around town or city. People are using suburban bus transport instead of driving your car eliminates car parking, petrol and general car running costs. Bus fares normally start at NZ $2.00 and increase with each stage you travel, obviously the further you travel the more it will cost, but you can buy concession cards and cheaper bus fares is available for students and senior citizens. Many of the larger cities in New Zealand offer a free bus service that travels set route sometimes within inside of city area.

Halloween History

Halloween is celebrated October 31 every year. It began 5 century B.C. Halloween was originally ancient Celtic festival. Name of Ancient Celtic festival is Samhain. The festival of Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest season. Samhain was a time used to take stock of supplies and prepare for winter. The ancient Celtic believed that the borders between the worlds of alive and dead people overlapped on October 31. Dead people would come back to life and cause disaster such as sickness or damaged crops.

Yokosuka Festival
The festival is take place at shrine of Atago in Tokai city. Four floats (Dashi) are brought out to celebrate the festival. Floats are divided four, Kitamachi Gumi, Honmachi Gumi, Koutu Gumi and Daimon Gumi. These floats turned and confetti danced in the air on intersection.

Owari Tsushima Fall Festival
This festival held at Tsushima city in October 18 and floats walk in city. These floats is more magnificent than Yokosuka festival one. They wind silver curtain around floats and there are Japanese mechanical doll on floats.

Movies
My favorite movie’s common point is lone hero. In this summer, I watched Hancock, which is never dying and very strong man movie. My favorite actor is Keanu Reeves and Will Smith. So I often watched movie they play.

I Robot
I like SF movie. This is robot and human’s relationship movie. Del Spooner is acted by Will Smith and main character in this movie. He hate robot but there are many robot around him and robots of the latest were sold instead of former type. There was unique robot in their robots. The robot had emotion and his name is Sonny. Spooner and Sonny first fight but after that, they fight another enemy in cooperation. I think robot will be like this movie so this movie may not be fiction.

Man on Fire
Man on Fire is serious and action movie. The leading actor is Denzel Washington and actress is Dakota Fanning. John W. Creasy, Denzel Washington, is a former soldier and now he was hired as bodyguard of Pita, Dakota Fanning. First he treated coldly but he gradually opened up to Pita and teaches swimming or study. One day after school, Pita was kidnapped and Creasy intend to help her.

This movie is in Mexico. Hiring bodyguard is common practice and needed to enter insurance of kidnapping in Mexico but I don’t know it so I was very amazed. It is very interesting for me to be gradually changing relationship between Creasy and Pita in this movie.

Summer vacation

fire works
I went to watch fire works in Okazaki with my friends. It was very humid day. We went there by train because when last year, we went to same place by car, there was many cars, we used a lot of time to find parking area. There were many people in train so we were stuffy until we arrives station for the purpuse. We went to Okazaki Park on foot. The park is not far from station but we correctly don’t know place where the park is so we follow crowd. Then we found many food wagons. We were not hungry so we didn’t buy anything. There was cucumber sailing food wagon. The cucumber is not cut and seasoning is salt and miso. It is just cucumber. But the food wagon was popular and people make line to buy the cucumber. I don’t dislike cucumber but I didn’t suppose to eat it. I don’t know why cucumber was popular. It took 45 minutes to arrive Okazaki Park. We have time until fire works start so we supposed to buy shaved ice. But my physical condition was suddenly not good so I stopped to eat shaved ice. It became dark gradually and fire works festival stated. Fire works was beautiful, powerful and very large. Sound of fire works was very very big because place where fire works launched was close to us. While I looked at fire works, I was just amazed and moved because it was colorful and a lot of kind of shape. It was good to look at it any times. The festival was played two hours and number of fire works was about 30,000 shots. This fire works festival is the biggest one in this area. I really enjoyed it. But on the way to go back home, there were too many people on street and in train. So I had fun time but I was very tired. word 323

Diabetes
When normal people have a meal, digested and absorbed sugar content from food enter blood and is send sugar content to body. Muscle and fat cell have catcher. This catcher is worked by insulin and catch sugar content. The catcher takes sugar content in cell and use it.
But abnormal people that eat too much, have a meal of Western countries and are short of exercise is not good working of insulin. If insulin comes, the catcher does’t use insulin well. Then sugar content enters urine.

Red wine
Red wine protects diabetic patients from meal-induced oxidative stress and thrombosis activation. Red wine is useful the prevention of cardiovascular disease in diabetes.
